Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Documentation Officer with strong document control and technical writing experience in a project-driven environment. The successful candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and ideally have ERP and SolidWorks skills, with a collaborative and team-focussed attitude.
Minimum requirements:
* High attention to detail
* Proficient in AutoCAD; CAD certification desirable
* Experience in document control and process management
* Experience in a project environment
* ERP system experience
* Ability to create and maintain document databases
* Experience working effectively in a team environment
Key responsibilities:
* Create detailed work instructions for the production facility
* Develop CAD block diagram drawings and mechanical/electrical drawings for production and fabrication
* Produce user manuals, product specification sheets, project documentation, PDFs and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
* Collaborate with procurement for part and pricing efficiencies
* Check and validate all documentation for accuracy, including numbering, revisions, format and legibility
* Maintain documentation standards compliant with client and internal procedures
* Contribute to continuous improvements in document control systems and processes
* Support engineering and production teams with accurate and timely document control and technical drawings
Desirable:
* Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD software
* Knowledge of RF technology and wireless communications
