Workfront is a recruitment agency who seeks suitable applicants for permanent positions for a variety of different industries.We are currently seeking a Precast Labourer for a local Griffith company who has been specialising in precast concrete product for over 70 years.This position would consist of a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime to complete daily duties. Ongoing employment opportunities available with potential for permeant employment with host employer for the right candidates. Due to the nature of this work and with regular deadlines to meet, it can be a fast paced environment with the entirety of the work being hands on.Position will be manufacture a broad range of pre-cast products to suit rail, transport, civil, mining & farming solutions. Duties included but not limited to:Assembling and disassembling mouldsCleaning & oiling of mouldsPlacing of reinforcement & steel bar within the mouldConcrete pouring & setting proceduresOperate overhead crane to move moulds, disassemble & move productsUse of hand & power toolsConcrete patchingAssist with current section leaders withinthe factory with their dutiesOperating batching plant machineryGeneral labour dutiesEssential requirements to be successful in this role:Previous experience working in a construction, trade or manufacturing environment.Ability to use basic hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood physical fitness to perform manual labour tasksPunctuality & reliability is an absolute mustA 'can do' approach with a willingness to work hardWork well on your own as well as in a team environmentPPE required for this position:Steel-cap work bootsHi-visibility shirt and drill pantsLicence (significant advantage but not essential):Drivers licenceForklift LicenceVisaapplicantsare welcome to apply:Must be in Australia and have valid working rightsMeet essential requirementsHave a very high standard of written and spoken englishWilling to stay for a minimum of 3 monthsIf you feel you meet the above requirements and are interested in applying for this position.
