The Role
The Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO) is seeking GEOINT and L&D professionals to fill multiple positions in the Training & Tradecraft team.
APS 6 Learning Technologies Manager – You will enhance the capabilities of the AGO workforce through the creation of digital learning content for, and management of, the agency's Learning Management System (LMS).
APS 6 GEOINT Instructor - You will develop and instruct on internally developed training programs, sharing your knowledge and experience to develop the skills of the AGO workforce.
In these roles, you will:
* Design, develop and implement innovative eLearning and digital learning artefacts, and provide governance and assurance of the LMS
* Design, develop, and deliver training programs focusing on critical skill areas to develop GEOINT analysts
* Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure the relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness of all learning materials.
* Manage various projects, tasks, reporting and administrative functions amid competing priorities within deadlines and tight timeframes.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. AGO's Training & Tradecraft (TT) Directorate is a team of highly motivated APS and ADF members with various backgrounds and experiences who work collaboratively to create training opportunities to develop the skills of the AGO workforce.

You are a high performing, enthusiastic person passionate about L&D and the professional growth of others. You can work as part of a team to build and maintain productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
You will be an experienced GEOINT analyst with a proven record producing high quality GEOINT products. You will have experience as an instructor, or developing and delivering learning materials, and can confidently deliver engaging presentations to convey complex concepts and encourage interactive learning experiences.
Or, you will have experience using Learning Management Systems such as Totara or Moodle, proficiency in eLearning authoring tools, such as iSpring, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and experience in design and development of eLearning (e.g. SCORM or xAPI).
