Leading Hand Food Manufacturing – Afternoon shift – Permanent positions – Silverwater location
Our client is currently seeking Leading Hands and Senior Operators to join their busy food manufacturing business located in Silverwater. These are permanent, full time opportunities, ideal for individuals who value long-term stability, career growth, and the chance to be part of a supportive and well-established leadership team. Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of production workers
Organise daily tasks including training new staff
Ensure daily production targets are met
Coordinate changeovers, line setups and production transitions
Report production issues to supervisors and maintenance teams
Promote good manufacturing practices (GMP)
Computer operation
Handling pork and beef (raw and cooked)
Qualifications
2 years' experience working within a food manufacturing environment
Previous Supervisor experience preferred
HACCP and GMP
Good communication skills
Machine operation experience
Availability to work afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 2pm starts
Reliability and great work ethic
Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
