About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Baker to join our team at Nourish Cafe Toowoomba. As a part-time Baker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality baked goods that delight our customers in our Toowoomba-based cafe.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing a variety of sweet and savoury baked goods according to recipes and company standards
2. Ensuring all baked items are produced consistently and to the highest quality
3. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
4. Collaborating with the kitchen team to meet production targets and customer demands
5. Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
6. Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
What we're looking for
1. Formal training or qualifications in baking or commercial cookery
2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Baker or Chef in a cafe, restaurant or bakery environment
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. Flexibility to work mornings from 5 am
6. A passion for creating high-quality baked goods and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards
