Medical Oncology Fellow – Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC)

Sante Recruitment, with over 20 years of experience in medical recruitment, is proud to present an outstanding opportunity for a Medical Oncology Fellow to join the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) at Grampians Health.
This fellowship provides comprehensive clinical and research training under the supervision of a highly experienced team of five full‐time and five visiting oncologists, offering a rich and diverse training environment in regional Victoria.
About the Role
* Participate in oncology clinics 4 days/week, including outreach clinics to Horsham or Stawell (fortnightly).
* Engage in a wide range of multidisciplinary meetings: breast, upper GI, colorectal, urological, thoracic, neuro‐oncology, gynaecological, skin cancer, head & neck.
* Attend consultant ward rounds 2–3 times/week.
* Contribute to after‐hours on‐call and weekend ward round rosters.
* Undertake independent research with mentorship, and play a key role in the busy clinical trials unit (including early‐phase trials).
* Participate in teaching, including medical students from the University of Melbourne and Deakin University, as well as junior doctors.
* Attend academic forums including Journal Club, M&M meetings, and the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Group education series.
Skills & Experience
* Postgraduate qualifications and experience in Medical Oncology.
* Advanced training in oncology (partly or fully completed).
* Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated commitment to oncology patient care and research.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
