Job Overview
The Territory Business Developer plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth within a defined industry and geographic territory. This position is responsible for managing direct and indirect deals by leveraging strategic partnerships, with a focus on executing effective business practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular forecasts to stakeholders.
* Target key accounts and prospects within a defined sales territory by industry, geography, or product group.
* Develop and execute a business strategy to maximize opportunities and achieve sales objectives within the designated territory.
* Provide leadership and training to local resellers to enhance their skills and drive key sales initiatives.
* Establish and maintain effective long-term customer relationships at all levels within the account.
* Leverage chosen sales processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize results.
* Collaborate with internal resources and representatives from pre-sales and other organizations to drive sales growth.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and develop sector knowledge to inform business decisions.
* Support Autodesk's strategic plans and marketing campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications
* Candidates should have +5 years of BD or direct selling experience in a matrix organisation, with demonstrated success in building pipeline and closing deals.
* Experience in the AEC industry or cloud-based construction is highly desirable.
