Academic Opportunity in Pharmacy Education

The Discipline of Pharmacy is seeking two innovative and committed academics at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level to join our growing team. The roles may be appointed as either research and teaching or education-focused positions, depending on the candidate's background and interests.
Successful candidates will contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy education through engaging teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring fresh perspectives on the future of pharmacy and can incorporate emerging practice areas into their teaching to inspire the next generation of pharmacists.
Teaching responsibilities will span pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacy practice (including law and ethics), with preference given to applicants who integrate pharmaceutical sciences and demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary, practice-informed education.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A PhD in Pharmacy or other related discipline
* Registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist in Australia (highly desirable)
* Experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery of courses and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
* Demonstrated ability to integrate the teaching of pharmaceutical sciences with therapeutics and pharmacy practice
* Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods
* Research outputs commensurate with a strong performing early career researcher (For T&R).
* Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills
* Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity diversity and inclusion initiatives.
* An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
* Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
