Structural Engineering Team Lead Opportunity
As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of structural engineers in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors including infrastructure, residential, commercial, education, and industrial.
About This Role:
* You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of structural engineers to deliver projects that meet our client's needs and expectations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Contribute to business development activities including tendering and proposal writing.
* Collaborate with other teams to identify and pursue new opportunities and grow our network locally.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to drive technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of structural engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Maintain open communication channels with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and objectives.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and contribute to business development activities.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (RPEQ or working towards).
* Extensive experience in Australian structural design for buildings and infrastructure.
* Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* Commercially astute with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
