Role Description:
As a Manufacturing Production Worker, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, contributing to the production of goods by operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process. You will work collaboratively with your team to meet production targets and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment.
- Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
- Assemble goods on a production line and ensure accurate completion of products.
- Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance staff promptly.
- Pack finished products for shipment and prepare them for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to company policies.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Fill out production documentation accurately and timely.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not essential.
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions and production schedules.
- Basic math skills and the ability to measure/count accurately.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Physical stamina and strength;
- Reliability and a team-focused attitude.
