About the opportunity

Looking towards further growth, we are searching for motivated people to join our diverse team to help us build better futures for Australians.

* Full‐Time Permanent Role (38 hours/week)
* Monday to Friday – Day Shift – 5:30 am to 1:30 pm
* Opportunities for OT on Saturdays (not mandatory)
* Tomago location
* $29.00/h 3‐month training period – $34.03/h ongoing once completing training
* Parking onsite – no travelling required
* Ongoing training provided with a supportive culture

About the role

Reporting to the Factory Manager, Yard Hands in our team play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient movement of steel products in the factory. The key focus of this role is to operate forklifts, assist with loading trucks, and manage pick‐packing tasks within the factory. More specifically, you will:

* Safely operate a forklift to move steel around the yard and the factory
* Manual handling, including 2‐person lifts and general stacking
* Assist with loading and unloading trucks
* Work collaboratively with a team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion of tasks
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment

About you

You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; Better Together, Be Accountable, People Matter and Think Bigger. In addition, you will demonstrate:

* Excellent work ethic, honest, reliable and punctual
* Experience with forklifts in a manufacturing environment, ideally as a Yard Hand.
* Hold a valid forklift licence
* Comfortable with high volume, repetitive work
* Available to work Monday to Friday – 38 hours a week
