Project Specialist / Project Manager – Collie Region
Location: Near Collie – Bunbury / Australind and surrounds. Applicants should be based locally or within commuting distance to the Collie region. (No accommodation provided)
Contract: 12 months (or project duration)
Roster: 4 days/week (10 hrs/day) or 9-day fortnight
Start: Immediate availability preferred
Role overview
Lead critical engineering projects as a Project Specialist / Project Manager in the Collie area. This hands-on role involves delivering mechanical, electrical, and technical projects across a capital project portfolio.
This is ideal for a mid-level to senior project professional who works independently, manages stakeholders, and delivers projects from concept to completion.
What the role looks like
* Deliver projects from concept to closeout following project management frameworks
* Lead projects to approved scope, schedule, and budget
* Provide safety leadership aligned with organisational values
* Identify and manage project design and execution risks
* Prepare and communicate monthly project reports
* Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders
* Manage your own purchase orders, requisitions, and project administration
About You
* Project management qualification required
* Engineering or technical trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Process) highly desirable
* Several years' experience delivering projects ($500k–$5M) in brownfields resources environments
* Experienced in stakeholder management and independent project delivery
