Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Financial Counsellor to provide financial guidance and support to individuals in need. As a member of our team, you will work closely with community members to develop personalized case plans and implement strategies to alleviate financial hardship.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide financial counselling services to clients, including budgeting and debt management advice
* Work collaboratively with community members to develop and implement effective case plans
* Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and understanding
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery
Requirements:
* Diploma of Financial Counselling or equivalent qualification
* Accredited membership of a state-based recognized financial counselling association
* Experience working with diverse client groups, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
