Remuneration: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (Level 2) + full salary packaging options available up to $15,900 per annum


About Us

Originally named The Wayside Foundation, The Ted Noffs Foundation was established in 1970 by the Australian humanitarian, Reverend Ted Noffs, who's work championed social justice, mental health support, and innovative youth services. Today, the Foundation continues his legacy, delivering frontline services and community support across NSW, ACT & QLD. With over 200 staff and 350 volunteers, we remain deeply committed to helping young people affected by issues related to drugs, crime, and mental health.


The Role

Noffs is looking for a dynamic and organised Admin & Intake Officer to provide essential support to our new short-term residential service in Doonan, ensuring smooth intake processes and administrative efficiency across all aspects of the program.


Key Responsibilities

* Managing the intake process from assessment to entry.
* Acting as the first point of contact for potential clients and referrers, and ensuring a timely transition of referrals.
* Telephone screening of potential clients in a respectful and caring manner.
* Maintaining a professional standard of behaviour and confidentiality.
* Maintaining calendars and rosters in consultation with managers.
* Assisting with handling enquiries and liaising with staff members.
* Participating in an organisation-wide telephone roster and serving as reception.
* Managing administration duties in consultation with the management team.
* Coordinating meetings management including taking and distributing minutes.
* Supporting building maintenance and WHS duties.
* Assisting with ordering and maintaining office supplies.
* Collecting and distributing mail and arranging courier services.
* Assisting with IT and system troubleshooting for the team.
* Working with other administrative staff to support the administration needs for the Ted Noffs Foundation.
* Maintaining the client database and records.


Qualifications

* Demonstrated capacity to provide administrative duties.
* Experience and demonstrated ability to work with young people between the ages of 12and 25 years old.
* Proven organisational skills and the ability to multi-task with attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Excellent telephone and inter-personal manner.
* Ability to develop, maintain and build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
* Commitment to the principles of harm minimisation and to the aims of the Ted Noffs Foundation.
* Must have a current and valid QLD Blue Card and Driver's Licence .
