As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced
Bookkeeper / Administration professional
to join our dedicated team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, full-function position managing both bookkeeping and operational admin tasks.
The business is
relocating from Laverton North to Geelong
— initially, you'll be based in Laverton North for onboarding and training, with
hybrid work flexibility
available during the transition.
Once the relocation is complete, the role will be
office-based in Geelong
.
You'll work closely with management and project teams to support the financial and operational side of the business.
We are seeking a self-motivated, self-starter who will take charge of the bookkeeping and admin support functions for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable – creditor invoice entry, reconciliations, statements
Accounts Receivable – debtor receipts, allocations, collection
Bank and Trade Finance data entry
Bank reconciliations
BAS (Australia) & IRD (NZ) preparation/submission
Local & NZ creditor payments
Assist with marketplace transactions - Amazon, Bunnings, eBay, Harvey Norman & PayPal
Creation of tax invoices for finance settlements
Administration & Operations
Invoicing
Stock transfers & local ordering of stock for projects
Assisting with compiling & finalising marketing claims
Production and distribution of rebate reports
Printing & managing sales orders from shipment
Coordinating with sales team to follow up payments
Monitoring unprocessed orders & project payment milestones
Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience
Strong knowledge of
Xero
(or similar software) – the business currently uses MYOB EXO (if you have experience with MYOB EXO then that will be highly regarded)
Experience with multi-currency & multi-entity accounts (AU & NZ)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
