Key Responsibilities:
* Resident Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
* Staff Supervision: Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
* Care Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
* Medication Management: Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
* Family Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
* Crisis Management: Handle emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* Current AHPRA registration.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in aged care as a registered nurse.
* Grade 5, Registered Nurse.
* Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
* Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation.
* Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
