About the role -BAO
* Observe, analyse, and engage with passengers to identify and respond to unusual or high-risk behaviour patterns in international departures.
* Conduct discreet assessments of relevant travel documentation.
* Accurately document incidents and support ongoing security awareness.
* Uphold high customer service and professional standards while participating in security reviews and training activities.
* Actively contribute to a safe, inclusive airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete thorough screening and inspections of property, catering items, and aircraft.
* Oversee access control and verify travel documentation at designated checkpoints.
* Record and maintain accurate security logs.
* Provide professional customer service, assist with lost property, and respond to queries.
* Support health, safety, and operational procedures, including regular training and compliance activities.
* Excellent observation, communication, and conflict management skills.
* Capacity for discretion, initiative, and professionalism.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
* Ability to obtain an ASIC Card.
* Security Licence (relevant state or territory).
* Effective communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work various shifts.
* Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
* Customer service experience, preferably in regulated environments or aviation security.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in airport security or similar settings.
