About the Role
The primary objective of this position is to oversee and manage technical operations, ensuring that dealerships maintain the highest standards in vehicle diagnosis and repair.
This involves delivering training programs, supporting complex diagnostics, and collaborating with OEMs to resolve field issues.
* Deliver face-to-face and virtual technical training for dealership technicians, focusing on NEV systems and emerging technologies.
* Develop and maintain training content, assessments, and hands-on modules aligned with global standards; travel internationally for OEM training.
* Provide in-field technical support, mentoring, and diagnostics assistance to technicians and Aftersales Managers across the network.
* Monitor and analyze technical trends using FPRS, resolving recurring issues and supporting product rectification and reporting.
* Collaborate with OEMs, engineers, and internal teams to manage recalls, service campaigns, and technical communications.
* Oversee technical support operations, ensure compliance with training KPIs, and promote a customer-first culture across the network.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* More than 3 years' experience in technical roles within distribution or workshop settings, with exposure to dealership service operations and NEV systems.
* Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) are required.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and drive results in dynamic environments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license are essential; willingness to travel nationally and internationally for dealer support is also required.
