About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Life Support Fitter Supervisor to join the AH-64E Apache helicopter program.
The Australian Apaches will join the growing global fleet of more than **** aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.
This role is based in Townsville working alongside the Army customer.
Responsibilities
Be an integral part of the Apache capability.
Be competent in all aircraft life support processes, inclusive of aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance, modification and planning documentation.
Be able to work within a dynamic team and respond effectively to changing requirements.
Manage the delivery of Aircraft Life Support Equipment services around the operational requirements of Apache.
This role is expected to commence in February ****.
About You
Cert IV in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (or equivalent).
Apache Aircraft Familiarisation (CoA Provided).
A minimum of ten years of military or commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
Maintain and manufacture soundproofing, soft furnishings and aircraft flooring (highly desirable).
Explosive ordnance supervisor (highly desirable).
Experience with ADF products and processes on larger aircraft or rotary wing platforms (desirable).
Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
