Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a difference in the lives of children? Wattle Park Kindergarten is seeking dedicated Early Childhood Workers to join our Kindy Care program. We aim to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder within every child, in a safe and supportive environment.
Position: Early Childhood Worker - Kindy Care Program
As an Early Childhood Worker, you will be responsible to the preschool director for providing a quality out-of-hours care program. You will contribute to the planning and evaluation of the program to meet the needs of individual children, their families, and the community, in accordance with Department for Education policies and procedures and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
**What You Will Bring**:
- Ability to contribute to planning, implementation, and evaluation of Early Years Learning Framework for children aged 4-5.
- An approved diploma-level education and care qualification (approved qualifications published on the ACECQA website).
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Must have a current approved first aid qualification, anaphylaxis, and emergency management training (refer to the ACECQA website for lists of approved qualifications).
- Ability to communicate and work in partnership with parents/carers and the community in the delivery of services to children.
- Students who have completed 30% of their Early Childhood Teaching degree (considered diploma qualified)
- Must hold a current WWCC and RRHAN.

Please note, this position is for 12 hours per week Tuesday-Friday.

Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent. The successful applicant will be employed under the appropriate mode of employment.
