This role is offered on a part‐time basis, providing flexibility to effectively balance work and study commitments while gaining valuable, hands‐on experience in public practice.
About the role
This is a rewarding entry‐level opportunity for an undergraduate looking to develop a strong foundation in public practice accounting. You will work closely with senior team members and receive ongoing support and training as you build your technical skills.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Working with accounting systems such as Xero and MYOB, with on‐the‐job training across accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and other bookkeeping functions
* Preparation of BAS and IAS
* Assisting with tax compliance and individual and company tax returns
* Supporting the preparation of financial statements
* Performing data entry, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
* Assisting with client queries and general administrative support
This role is designed to provide structured learning, with clear progression as your technical capability develops.

About you
The successful candidate will be currently studying a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline, with a strong interest in pursuing a career in public practice. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to developing your technical skills within a professional environment.

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* A foundational understanding of accounting principles
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
