Our Business Banking division supports more than 10,000 clients across Australia's medium to large business segment, with financial needs and turnovers between $30m and $150m. We're committed to deeply understanding our clients and delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across sectors such as manufacturing, wholesale, logistics, retail, childcare, property, professional services and construction.
Following continued growth and success - including an internal promotion within the team - we now have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and analytical finance professional to join us in our Liverpool office, as a Credit Analyst.
You'll be passionate about exceptional customer experiences and aligned with our ambition to be number one in client satisfaction.
This role offers the chance to step into larger, more complex transactions while gaining valuable relationship-management exposure through customer meetings.
What you'll do
* Conduct high-quality financial modelling and analysis to support lending decisions.
* Prepare clear, insightful credit submissions, articulating credit merits and key risk mitigants.
* Support deal execution, ensuring documentation and processes flow seamlessly.
* Manage portfolio data quality, regulatory compliance, and reporting obligations.
* Undertake annual reviews and ongoing performance monitoring of existing clients.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders across Risk and Relationship Management.
What we're looking for
* Experience in business, commercial or corporate banking is highly regarded. Accountants from top-tier firms with credit exposure are also encouraged to apply.
* Strong experience writing and analysing credit transactions, annual reviews, and risk assessments.
* A solid understanding of balance sheets, P&L, loan structuring and security.
* Confident communication skills and comfort working in a deadline-driven environment.
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
