Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Planning and Reporting
o Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial plans, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
o Establish and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
* Budgeting and Forecasting
o Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
o Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and recommending corrective actions.
* Cost Management and Analysis
o Oversee cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
o Partner with operations to optimize cost efficiencies, productivity, and inventory management.
* Compliance and Governance
o Ensure adherence to all relevant statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial and accounting regulations, including IFRS and potentially US GAAP.
* Leadership and Team Development
