About The Role
Operating within the Education Portfolio's Professional Services Hub, the Manager, Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) Governance and Student Leadership provides advisory, coordination and governance support to the student‐led SSAF Committee, with a focus on implementing the university's approved SSAF transition milestones and strengthening the operational and governance capability of the student‐led model. The role works closely with the Director Strategy and Operations to support the staged increase in SSAF allocation to student‐led organisations and embed sustainable governance, financial management and reporting practices in line with legislative and regulatory requirements. The Manager supports the SSAF Committee to build capability, enhance governance maturity, and promote informed and accountable decision‐making in relation to SSAF funding, compliance obligations and annual reporting requirements, working collaboratively with Finance, Governance, Assurance and the Office of General Counsel to ensure alignment with institutional policy and government requirements. The role does not hold delegated financial or compliance authority but supports effective coordination and escalation where required. The position also develops and maintains effective working relationships with student representatives and key university stakeholders, supporting student leadership capability in governance, budgeting and compliance and ensuring alignment with institutional policy and legislative requirements.

* Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,409 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed‐term staff.
* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
