This role is ideal for a passionate, motivated Demi Chef looking to work in a fast-paced, high-volume buffet-style breakfast service. You’ll play a key role in delivering a consistent, high-quality breakfast experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs with the preparation and delivery of buffet-style breakfast service, ensuring variety, freshness, and quality at all times
- Oversee assigned breakfast sections, ensuring smooth and effective operations
- Uphold exceptional food presentation and hygiene standards, maintaining cleanliness and organisation across all workstations
- Prepare mise-en-place and support stock control by monitoring inventory, minimising waste, and adhering to rotation procedures
- Help train and guide junior team members or apprentices where required
- Liaise with chefs and kitchen leadership to ensure consistent service and timely replenishment during peak service period.
