An exciting opportunity has arisen within a government department based in the beautiful inner south. This new team requires an APS6 Event Manager to join in either a contract or non-ongoing capacity. An immediate start is required for an initial 6-month contract plus possible extension.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director, you'll liaise with all manner of interesting people, creating, implementing, and managing events and engaging with a broad level of communications. Other duties will include:
- supporting the team through internal functions as well as external engagements
- supporting and leading your team of hospitality guru's
- building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
Do you consider yourself a 'Jack of all trades'? You'll need to be a confident self-starter who has a passion for Events Management, along with:
- capability of wearing 'many hats' with a resilient, adaptable approach to life
- a willingness to jump in and work with the team
- a baseline clearance or willing to obtain one
