About the role
Carcare Motor Company, a leading provider of automotive services, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team in Joondalup, WA. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing and repairing faults in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
* Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing to keep vehicles in optimal condition
* Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and providing recommendations to customers
* Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Collaborating with the team to share knowledge and best practices
* Staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry developments
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field / Air conditioning experience and qualification is looked upon favourably
* Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a similar workshop environment
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in the use of state of the art diagnostic equipment and tools
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Good communication skills and ability to guide and mould our high quality apprentices
* A valid driver's licence
