About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to join our team based in Mooloolaba QLD. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day distribution operations, ensuring orders are packed and delivered on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
In this Role
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, this full-time permanent position ideally requires sound knowledge and experience in Seafood, Foodservice or FMCG, stock rotation and HACCP controls. As a Distribution Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across our seafood distribution network. Your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee daily distribution activities, ensuring orders are packed and delivered on time
* Prepare stock orders for delivery and for the on-site Fresh Fish Shop
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as required
* Schedule and monitor servicing of delivery vehicles
* Manage invoicing and related documentation
* Manage and supervise seafood processing staff and delivery drivers
* Ensure adherence to HACCP and Quality Assurance programs at all times
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality
* Other administrative tasks as required
You're Likely a Match If
* Minimum 2 years' experience in either seafood processing, food service or FMCG is preferred but not essential
* Strong knowledge of seafood species and food safety standards is added advantage
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively
* MR Licence and Forklift Licence (desirable)
* Available to work every second Saturday if required.
