Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
A high-profile opportunity has arisen for an experienced CISO to join a major utilities provider responsible for the delivery of essential services across Australia's critical infrastructure sector.
You will lead the organisation's cyber security strategy, with a core focus on uplift and ongoing compliance with the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act. You will drive the protection of both IT and operational environments.
What You Will Be Doing:
Develop and deliver the organisation's security strategy and roadmap in accordance with SOCI and other relevant regulatory requirements
Drive uplift of cyber security across SCADA / OT environments and ensure alignment to industry standards
Provide strategic advice to the ELT and Board on current and emerging threats across operational and IT environments
Drive security governance, risk and compliance activities across the enterprise
Manage third-party and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment to security standards and critical infrastructure obligations
About You:
Proven experience in senior cyber leadership roles within critical infrastructure or highly regulated environments
Strong background securing OT environments and working with engineering/operations stakeholders
Deep knowledge of SOCI obligations and a track record of successful implementation
Strong capability across GRC, security architecture and operational security
Ability to influence at Board/Executive level and engage effectively with Government and regulatory agencies
