The CommBank Small Business Banking team have a passion for helping Australian small businesses succeed. Small Business Banking is a part of CBA Business Banking and provides in branch face-to-face and remote support to Small Businesses across Australia. The purpose of the Executive Manager is to lead the financial, customer and risk performance for their allocated Small Business Region. In addition to the performance of the Region, the Executive Manager leads a team of Small Business Bankers and is accountable for developing their skills and knowledge across all business customer needs and solutions, including credit origination processes for up to $1.25m. As a senior leader within the Small Business extended leadership team, you will play a key role in contributing to the overall performance of Small Business.
More specifically you will:
Be responsible for the successful execution of Business Banking strategic initiatives within your area.Develop a high performing and customer centric culture that delivers great customer experiences and strong relationships.Ensure your business bankers are recruited, retained and set up for success and to ensure high engagement across those team membersDeliver customer advocacy, financial performance and risk outcomes/performance for your areaDevelop strong partnership with Customer Service Network (Branch) peers and other key stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that support Small Business performanceProactively manage risk such as ensuring our data is high quality and we are meeting our compliance obligations such as AML/KYC

Demonstrated leadership experience and are ready to take the next step in your careerCommercial lending experiencePrevious experience in a high-volume, fast-paced customer environmentA proven track record of delivering strong financial and customer outcomesThe ability to develop a risk-aware team culture and proactively manage financial and non-financial riskA degree in finance or a business-related discipline (strongly preferred)CAA and FRSA Tier 2 Accreditation
