Job Title:
The Strategic Planning Manager role involves shaping the future of payments in Australia.
Solutions include domestic debit networks, real-time data-rich payments infrastructure, secure bill payments, digital identity verification, QR payments and experiences, and open wallet solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting strategic planning by analyzing data to align initiatives with organisational goals.
* Developing measurement frameworks, including metrics, data collection methods, and reporting formats.
* Tracking performance against objectives to inform strategic decisions.
* Providing analytical support and tailored solutions through stakeholder engagement.
* Assisting risk management by identifying risks and mitigation actions within governance frameworks.
* Conducting root cause analysis and recommending improvements aligned with strategy.
* Preparing reports and insights to support strategic communication and change initiatives.
* Managing stakeholder relationships and facilitating informed decision-making.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role across Strategic/Business Planning, Strategy, Management Consulting or Finance.
* Robust ability to provide advice and recommendations based on expertise and experience.
* Ability to undertake basic risk management activities.
* Proven experience to adopt a holistic view to identify and analyze problems and opportunities.
* Ability to implement root cause analysis and identify recommendations for improvements.
* Engage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
* Well-honed experience to apply standard techniques to analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Ability to act as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining, and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
* Developed knowledge of payments technology, IT systems, and the financial industry is a plus.
