We are seeking a permanent Radiographer who is looking to take the next step in their career or for a new graduate looking for an exciting opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art Cath Lab. Working alongside a team of highly skilled cardiologists and vascular surgeons; you will gain highly sought after skills and experience. While previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab is not essential, you must possess a genuine passion to want to work in this specialty area.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have the flexibility to be rostered across a variety of shifts including on-call work as required.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following:
* Use licence in Angiographic and Interventional Fluoroscopy (minimum requirement) and a willingness to complete relevant competencies to be approved for an Unrestricted Use licence in Angiographic and Interventional Fluoroscopy (desirable)
* Radiation safety officer (desirable) or the ability/willingness to train as a Radiation Safety Officer

Key Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current Queensland Radiation Use Licence for Medical Radiation Practitioners or the ability to obtain
* Proven ability to perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations using specialised equipment, including fluoroscopy
* Demonstrated ability to provide clinical services of a complex and varied nature as well as the application of high-level clinical expertise
* Previous cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional radiography experience within a Cardiac Investigations Unit (Cath Lab) (desirable but not essential)
* Advanced ability to effectively communicate, share information & work collaboratively within a multi‐disciplinary health team
* High attention to detail to ensure documentation is current, accurate, timely and maintains patient confidentiality
