From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.About the RoleWe have an exciting 12‐month max‐term, full‐time opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Salvos Store Finance team based in Blackburn.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for accounts payable processing and associated activities, completed accurately and on time, to support The Salvation Army retail stores.Key responsibilities:Accounts Payable: Process Accounts Payable invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and review and verify invoices for paymentAccounting: Prepare monthly accruals and month end journals as requiredReporting: Assist with the preparation of management reports, including month‐end and year‐end closeProvide support across Accounts Receivable and assist with project work as requiredAbout YouOur ideal candidate will be a motivated and detail‐oriented individual with an interest in building or continuing a career in finance.
