The Town of Gawler is looking for reliable, motivated, and hands-on individuals to join our team as a Skate Marshall at the Gawler Sport & Community Centre. We’re especially looking for someone with skating experience and a genuine passion for sharing the fun of skating with others. Whether you’re helping beginners build confidence on skates or creating an exciting atmosphere during public sessions (which could include skating birthday parties), you’ll play a key role in promoting active, healthy, and connected lifestyles within the community.

What You’ll Be Doing
What does a Skate Marshall do?
- Ensure the safety of skaters at public roller skating sessions and assist with the smooth running of sessions, including skating birthday parties
- Support public engagement during skating games to ensure safety for everyone
- Prepare and serve food or beverages according to health and safety standards
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is practical, proactive, and community-minded. To be successful in the role, you’ll need:
- Working With Children Check
- Child Safe Environment/RRHAN-EC
- First Aid HLTAID011
- CPR HLTAID009
