Safety Case and Technical Coordinator Role
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and sustainability of our operations within the region.
We are seeking an experienced Safety Case and Technical Coordinator to join our team in Perth. In this permanent, full-time position, you will provide guidance and support to DOF personnel with regards to assurance and control activities relating to the development and implementation of regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and monitoring the development of Vessel Safety cases
* Reviewing proposed work scopes and reporting on potential safety case impact
* Delivering Safety Cases in accordance to company and legislative requirements
* Developing systems to effectively capture safety case requirements and communicate to relevant internal and external stakeholders
* Developing Performance standards as required by the Safety Case
* Setting up systems to audit and monitor the requirements as set out within the Safety Case and performance standards
* Providing guidance, information, and training on Safety Cases
* Ensuring requirements of Safety Critical equipment are monitored and maintained
* Ensuring requirements of Safety Critical procedures are developed, monitored, and maintained
* Liaising and working with regulatory bodies on SC requirements and submissions

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Minimum 5-10 years within Australian offshore oil & gas industry
* Experience in developing Facility safety Cases (vessels) within the Australian Offshore Oil and Gas industry
* Previous experience working in engineering and maintenance in the oil and gas industry is essential
* Relevant Engineering / Naval architecture degree; Marine (Mariner (Master / Chief Engineer / Chief Officer) or; Risk Management / OH&S qualifications
* Experience in Hazard and Effects management processes
* Experience working on large scale projects
* Exceptional understanding of Offshore Australian legislation
* Solid knowledge of international standards and codes (marine and oil & gas)
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* Presentation, Facilitation and Coaching skills
* Advanced MS Office skills
* Experience with Bowtie XP
