New Pioneer Motors is Mackay’s only 100% locally owned and operated dealership, proudly serving the community for over 35 years. We represent leading automotive brands including Ram, GMSV, MG, and Renault, offering a supportive, fast-paced environment with a focus on growth and customer service.
You’ll be working in a clean workshop with state-of-the-art facilities and a strong team culture. Our technicians receive regular manufacturer and in-house training to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Conducting diagnostics, repairs, and general servicing of vehicles
* Performing mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and more
* Providing expert technical advice and recommendations
* Completing road tests and final inspections
* Mentoring apprentice technicians and sharing best practices
* Maintaining productivity and efficiency to dealership standards
What We’re Looking For:
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (minimum requirement)
* Proven experience in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of various vehicle systems
* Excellent attention to detail and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive and reliable attitude with a focus on safety and quality
* Manual driver’s licence (required)
* Experience with Ram, GMSV, MG, Renault - or other dealership brands - is highly regarded
* Wheel alignment experience (advantageous but not essential)
