Statutory Planning Coordinator Role Overview
This role is responsible for leading the statutory planning team in delivering services to customers, facilitating development approvals and pre-application meetings, and coordinating daily operations.
The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in town planning or a related field and a minimum of seven years' experience in land use planning. Excellent interpersonal skills are required, including effective communication with service users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure efficient and effective delivery of services within set timeframes.
* Mentor and assist team members, providing guidance and ensuring they have necessary structures to perform duties.
* Maintain customer service culture to deliver quality services and enhance Council's image.
* Prepare detailed reports and project manage complex planning permit applications.

We Require:
* Relevant qualification in Town Planning or a related field.
* Minimum of seven years' experience in land use planning or a related field.

* Able to interpret and implement legislation and procedures.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions.
