The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation ('BCF') is one of Sydney's most trusted frontline charities and has been supporting the community for over 40 years.

BCF provides essential support services across food relief, healthcare, education, social welfare and community programs. Through the National Student Wellbeing Program ('NSWP'), we work alongside schools to support the emotional, social and overall wellbeing of young people.
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Wellbeing Support Worker to support students and the broader school community at Captains Flat Public School.
This role plays an important part in supporting students through one-on-one engagement, group wellbeing initiatives and early intervention support within the school environment. You will work closely with students, school staff and external stakeholders to promote resilience, inclusion and emotional wellbeing in a safe and supportive setting.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Provide wellbeing support to students experiencing social, emotional or behavioural challenges
* Deliver age appropriate wellbeing activities and resilience programs
* Build positive and supportive relationships with students, staff and families
* Support the school in promoting inclusion, emotional safety and positive engagement
* Assist during wellbeing related incidents and provide appropriate referrals where required
* Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with child safe and privacy obligations
* Collaborate with school wellbeing teams and external support services.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking someone who is empathetic, calm, resilient and genuinely passionate about supporting young people.
You will ideally have:
* Qualifications in youth work, counselling, social work or a related field
* Experience working with young people in schools, community services or similar environments
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* Experience supporting students with behavioural or mental health challenges
* The ability to work independently while collaborating within a broader multidisciplinary team
* A current driver licence and access to a vehicle.
