About the Role
As a Lifestyle Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life for elderly residents. Your responsibility will be to plan, implement, and oversee programs and activities that cater to their diverse interests and needs.

Responsibilities:
* Facilitate a range of onsite activities such as bingo, floor bowls, craft, and special events.
* Help develop and plan social, recreational, and cultural activities.
* Assist residents on bus trips and community outings.
* Support resident participation and offer warm companionship.
* Ensure residents' needs, values, and spiritual values are taken into account.
Requirements:
* Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or willing to obtain).
* Initiative and creative flair.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and prioritize work.
* Ability to put a smile on a resident's face and brighten their day.
* A big heart - empathetic and passionate about supporting older Australians to live their best life possible.
* Knowledge of the needs of persons living with dementia (desirable).
