Job Overview

The role of the School Administrative Manager is multifaceted, encompassing the efficient management of school financial and administrative systems.


Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and train school administration officers to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
* Provide support for school activities and routines, including student welfare and wellbeing, while working collaboratively with the school principal, executive, and teaching staff as required.
* Manage the provision of resources to facilitate effective operation of the school.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a well-organized and productive work environment.


Essential Qualifications

* Working With Children Check Clearance
* First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
* Administration of Medications – training will be provided based on student needs.


Selection Criteria

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Capacity to supervise staff.
* Demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative, organize resources, and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to undertake financial and accounting responsibilities, including use of computerized systems.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage an office.
* Ability to interact with school staff, students, and members of the school community.
* Knowledge of and commitment to departmental Aboriginal education policy.
