Your New Company/Role: As one of the leading and renowned organizations, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team due to remarkable growth. This is a 3 months temporary role; subject to permanency but the main aim of this role is to go permanent. Only AU citizens or permanent residents of AU can be successfull for this role. Bridging visa holders towards permanent residency are welcomed to apply as well. About the Opportunity / Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Finance Manager who is nurturing and supportive, your main responsibilities will be collections duties but not limited to: Oversee Accounts Receivable function Deliver accurate and timely accounting - accounting entries, ensure all revenue and cost are correctly accounted, flagging any variances Cash handling within the dealership - manage collections, reconciliations and deposits in the bank of cash receipts Maintaining accurate balance sheets Maintain the highest standard in deal processing Support the accurate management and recording of stock Build strong relationships within the business High volume collections - aged debtors/chasing collections Ad-hoc administration tasks as required Ideal Profile To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounts Payable function: Diploma / Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent work experience 2 years or more related accounts receivable/collection/credit experience Experience in any large Accounting ERP system Manufactring or Automotive industry experience is highly advantageous Ability to manage aged debtors collections Intermediate Excel knowledge Excellent problem solving skills Great verbal and written skills Benefits Immediate start or open to those with notice period - 3 months temporary role to permanency $35 - $42 per hour Super To be based in the office (once permanent there is WFH flexibility) Onsite parking provided West Sydney location Great team culture and work life balance If you have the required skills and experience needed for this position, kindly please click the 'Apply' button below.
