The Opportunity
As a Service Technician in the irrigation industry, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, water tanks, water systems, pumps, filtration across agricultural, commercial and industrial. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their systems are operating efficiently and effectively, providing essential support to preserve their operations and infrastructure requirements. You will:
* Install, maintain, and repair a variety of systems and components, including sprinklers, drip systems, valves, controllers, pumps and filtration systems plus a whole lot more
* Conduct system inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, adjusting nozzles, and checking for leaks.
* Provide clients with expert advice on irrigation system operation, water conservation, and best practices.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
* Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
You
* 2+ years service experience within irrigation, plumbing, electrical, boilermaker, welder or any technical hands on trade (not essential)
* Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
* Customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
