We are currently searching for a full time sales supervisor to join our team. This position will be based in Mackay, QLD at our current store, opening November 2024. The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team to meet sales targets, uphold exceptional customer service standards, and maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the store floor. Our store trades 7 days a week so you must be available to work every third weekend on a rotating roster.
Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 8:35am - 5:10pm
- Saturday: 8:40am - 2:10pm
- Sunday: 9:35am - 1:10pm
(Every third weekend)

As a sales supervisor you will be responsible for and overseeing the following areas:
- Oversee store opening and closing procedures
- Merchandising and visual presentation of the store
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Supervise and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment as needed
- Monitor customer feedback and implement measures to enhance satisfaction
- Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to ensure seamless operations
- A willingness to learn
- A dedication to accuracy
- Strong decision making and strategic thinking skills
- Leads by example and fosters a positive team culture
- Strong customer service experience is crucial for this role
- Collaboration skills to foster teamwork and create a positive work environment
- Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally
- Experience in driving sales performance and achieving sales targets is essential
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and higher management
