About the Role
The GM – Group Operations is responsible for the end-to-end performance of all site operations, including factory, farming, maintenance, warehousing, and logistics. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, optimise operational systems, and drive key performance outcomes across safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee all factory, farming, maintenance, warehousing, and logistics operations
* Drive performance against key metrics including Safety, Quality, DIFOT, Productivity, and Cost Control
* Provide strong leadership, coaching, and direction to site teams
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance
* Oversee inventory management and stock control across operations
* Implement and maintain operational standards including SOPs, work instructions, and visual management systems
* Manage planned and breakdown maintenance in collaboration with maintenance teams
* Ensure effective cross-functional communication across production, farm, logistics, planning, and technical teams
* Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
* Lead workforce planning, capability development, and team engagement initiatives
* Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business as part of the senior leadership team

Experience & Background
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a senior operations leadership role (GM/Operations Manager level)
* Background in FMCG or food manufacturing, ideally with short shelf-life or fresh product environments
* Experience overseeing multi-site or integrated operations (manufacturing + agriculture highly regarded)
