What you will be doing

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Engagement, this role will be responsible for:

* Planning, implementing, and evaluating innovative community education programs, which lead to increased participation of underrepresented communities in Victoria's democracy.
* Creating accessible education materials and awareness campaigns.
* Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with key government and community-based organisations.
* Managing membership, contribution, and reporting for the VEC's Electoral Access Advisory Group.
* Conducting consultation and co-design processes with the community to inform our approach.

What you will bring to the role

* Significant experience in community engagement and stakeholder relationship management, particularly within the disability sector.
* Well-honed skills in all aspects of project management and delivery, including program planning, budgeting, implementation, and highly developed writing and reporting skills.
* The ability to communicate effectively and warmly with diverse audiences and make complex information relevant, understandable, and engaging.
* A passion for working within the disability sector and a commitment to social justice and democratic processes.
* Commitment to the VEC's core values.
