The Role We are looking for a qualified health care professional with: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. At least one full year of Nursing experience. A current NSW Driver Licence. Our Registered Nurses perform reception screening and comprehensive health assessments all persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing management. The position holder will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation. Reporting up to a passionate Nurse Unit Manager, you will work alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team comprising of primary care, drug & alcohol and mental health services. Working within a well-regarded clinical care team, you will enjoy the support of an on-site Clinical Nurse Educator as well as a team of nurses focused on providing quality care to some of our society's most vulnerable & disadvantaged.
