About You
* Welding certification or apprenticeship and other applicable certifications
Position Summary
The Production Team Member is responsible with the safe and effective operation of company equipment and machines in order to weld materials together for different projects and tasks that the company is doing for clients.
Key Requirements
* Applicable years of similar experience in welding
* Understand of safe and effective operation of different welding machines and other tools
* Knowledge of applicable safety equipment and safe practices to minimise the risk of injury or damage
* Knowledge and certification of forklift and other mobile machinery as required
* Experience following company policies and procedures
* Team player and effective communication skills to be able to assist other workers as required
* Able to adequately predict how much time will be needed for a particular project
Job Responsibility
* Do all the welding required for the manufacturing of products or other activities as required
* Make sure that all the equipment is kept clean and in safe operating condition
* Report any problems with any tools or machines if it is broken, needs maintenance, or other issues in order to keep everything safe
* Keep the working area, shop, and yard free from any unnecessary hazards and make sure that company safety procedures are followed at all times
* Help out managers or other staff members if they need assistance on any tasks or projects
* Continuously learn new techniques and safe practices
* Help out with other duties as required
