Aged Care Volunteer Visitor
The Aged Care Volunteer Visiting Scheme (ACVVS) connects volunteers with an older person who is feeling lonely or socially isolated, to build friendships and reduce feelings of loneliness. In your volunteer role you will be paired with a female over 100 to provide regular social support visits in their residential aged care home. During your visit you will listen to music, play cards, have a conversation and could include playing board games. Get to know someone new and make a difference in your local community
