**About the role**
You will use your retail and management experience to help all creatures' great and small by coordinating the volunteers and daily operations of the op shop while focusing on generating a valuable income for the RSPCA Queensland. RSPCA Op Shops make a real difference, with all proceeds going straight back to helping animals in need.
- Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand through your passion for all things preloved and second-hand, and encourage the same within your team to create a positive supportive store atmosphere
- Work closely with the Op Shop Business Manager, to support the goals and mission of the RSPCA Qld
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Train and support volunteers
- Drive sales to achieve set targets
- Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store
- Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures
- Maintain and periodically review the shop's pricing list.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Confident in retail and must have demonstrated leadership experience in a retail environment (minimum of 2 years in a similar role)
- Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands
- Proven visual/merchandising skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
- Sound computer skills
- Proven ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to supervise & provide direction to a small team.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 38 hours per week. Remuneration is as per the General Retail Industry Award Level 6 at $26.15 per hour + superannuation.
