Key responsibilities:
- Develop and/or review technical assessments related to fuze and ignition system design safety in support of acquisition and sustainment.
- Develop and/or review technical assessments related to fuze and ignition system engineering changes.
- Implement appropriate procedures, guidance and templates for the development of fuze and ignition assessments.
- Support assurance activities related to fuze and ignition system design and safety.
- Represent interests with regards to fuze and ignition system design through domestic and international engagements.
- Support the development of a fuze and ignition system design, manufacture and test capability.

- DSS - 2.16 Specialist Engineering - Non-Guided Explosive Ordnance Engineering - L4
- SFIA Skill Code - Safety engineering (SFEN) - L5 / Systems and software lifecycle engineering (SLEN) - L5
